Estadio BBVA

Estadio BBVA is located at Avenida Pablo Livas 2011, in the municipality of Guadalupe, east of the Monterrey metropolitan area. From downtown Monterrey, the distance is approximately 12 km.

The most practical public transport option is the Ecovia (rapid bus system) connecting downtown Monterrey with the stadium area. The nearest station is Exposicion, about a 15-minute walk from the stadium. You can also take the Metro to Eloy Cavazos station and then a bus or taxi.

On match days, special bus routes are enabled from key points in the city. The stadium parking lot has ample capacity but fills up quickly for large events. Uber and Didi are reliable options in Monterrey, though post-match wait times can be long. Monterrey's summer heat (35-40 degrees Celsius) makes arriving in air-conditioned transport recommended.

Estadio BBVA has a horseshoe design with three levels of stands and an open end oriented toward the Sierra Madre. Sections are divided into lower zone (100), middle zone (200), and upper zone (300).

The best views of both the pitch AND the mountain are from the sideline 200 sections (middle zone), offering an ideal elevated perspective. The sideline 100 sections are closest to the on-pitch action. The north end (closed) houses Rayados' most animated fans.

The open end (south) offers the most dramatic Sierra Madre views but the distance to the pitch is greater. For the World Cup, these seats will be popular for their photographic value. The 300 sections are the most affordable and are fully covered, which is an advantage in Monterrey's heat.

The Estadio BBVA area has lodging options along the Constitucion avenue corridor and the highway to Miguel Aleman. Hotels like Fiesta Inn Monterrey Fundidora and Courtyard by Marriott are 15-20 minutes by car from the stadium.

For those who prefer to stay closer to downtown Monterrey, the Fundidora and Santa Lucia neighborhood offers hotels with access to the Paseo Santa Lucia and Parque Fundidora, the city's main tourist attractions.

Regarding food, Monterrey is the capital of cabrito (young goat) and carne asada in Mexico. Near the stadium you'll find steakhouses and carne asada restaurants like El Gran Pastor and Cabrito el Sargento. The Barrio Antiguo area downtown has an excellent restaurant and bar scene 20 minutes from the stadium. Don't miss the tacos de trompo (Monterrey's version of tacos al pastor) at any local taqueria.

Estadio BBVA, being a recent construction (2015), was designed with modern accessibility standards. It has access ramps at all main entrances, elevators to reach different levels, and designated sections for people with mobility disabilities with companion spaces.

Accessible restrooms are available on all levels of the stadium. Customer service staff are trained to assist people with special needs. Parking lots have reserved spaces for people with disabilities near main entrances.

For families, the stadium offers a safe and organized environment. Corridors are wide and signage is clear. Sun protection and plenty of water are recommended, especially for children, given Monterrey's hot climate during World Cup months (June-July).
